More on that to come in a minute. But first, have you ever visited a winery before? I hadn't. Amanda and I decided that while we were in Virginia we would stop at one of the many wineries we passed along the way. We happened to choose West Wind Farm Vineyard and Winery in Max Meadows. It was amazing.
The employee we met there (I forgot to ask his name because I'm a mean person) lived in Columbia for a while so it was fun comparing notes and talking about local hangouts. We tasted a few different wines and then went outside to eat our lunch on a blanket under a shady tree. We each bought our favorite bottles, Amanda's was the sweet Galena Creek Blackberry and mine was the Cabernet Sauvignon. This post isn't sponsored in any way, it was just that awesome I wanted to share. And the view? I'll let it speak for itself...
So when Amanda and I sat down to enjoy a glass last night I got excited to share a project I've been working on for a while... *drum roll please* my first giveaway! It's a set of handmade bottle cap wine charms made by yours truly as a special thank you. I've collected bottle caps for a while now and only recently had the idea to turn them into something funky and functional.
There are a few different sets to choose from: Summer Fun, Southern Charm, Nature Lover, Columbia/USC, or Clemson University. There may or may not have been a slight South Carolina theme while I was making these...
A BIG thank you to all who have been reading and all who will be joining! Entering to win is simple: just use the Rafflecopter box below to enter your name and email (so I know how to contact the winners, nothing else-promise!). There are 3 different ways to enter: leaving a comment here saying hello and which set you would want, liking BTCC on Facebook, or following on Twitter @BeyondCookieCut. For each action you earn an additional entry. If you're already following along on Facebook or Twitter, just fill in the empty spaces asked for and you'll get an entry. I plan to give away 2 sets, but if there's an exciting response I just may be tempted to give a few more. The giveaway starts today and will be open until next Friday, July 19th. I'll contact the winners within 48 hours of closing to confirm.

So do you have a favorite or a suggestion for images and themes you'd like to see? Any advice from giveaway veterans out there!? I'd love to know :)
Sheila
PS. The backs look like this, although caps used are a little different in each set. I like to think it makes them reversible.

Thank you! So glad you like them and stopped by to say hi :)
DeleteOoh, the nature ones! I don't drink, but my mom recently helped me out a lot, and I think these would be a perfect gift. I'm Jamie; I just moved to Washington, and I'm about to post my own giveaway on my blog. I've run about four or five, but that's it. I don't do much on there besides run giveaways, so I don't get tons of traffic. A HUGE THANK YOU for keeping things easy.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I checked out your giveaways and they look great; all things everybody can use! Thanks so much for visiting this little one :)
