Wouldn't this be a sweet baby shower gift? Made over on Creative Jewish Mom.
OMGoodness, can you imagine a wall in a craft room with a bunch of variations on this idea as supplies organizers? Someday, when I'm not such a vagabond... Sewing kit from The Train to Crazy.
A wine cork trivet is classy and useful. This is so grown up-esque it's almost intimidating.

HOOP. There is is... I'm sorry. I had to.
Will you make any of these? Have they inspired you for a new, completely different project? I'd love to know.

Sheila, what's a trivet??? And I think even I have the craft skills necessary to do that fabric thang. I'm lovin this series.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah! A trivet is a pad you can put hot plates or pots on so they don't burn a counter top or table. Grown up-esque right??
DeleteYou could definitely do the fabric thing, and I would love to see it when you do!
Fun post! Thanks for including my hoop!
ReplyDeleteI audibly gasped when I found your sewing kit, haha. Thanks for creating something so cute! And coming by to see it :)
DeleteSuch cute ideas! I think my favorite is the photo chandelier. I do also really like the baby mobile. :) Great crafty gift idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks! If you make either of them I'd love to see your spin on it :)
DeleteThank you so much for including my solar system mobile, Sheila! I loved your post. I loved all of the creative uses for embroidery hoops, which are easily found at thrift stores for quarters. I will be coming back for sure!
ReplyDeleteThanks for making such a cool craft! And for coming by to see it :) I have big plans of making the solar system mobile for my Mom's kindergarten classroom.
